Our Story
A small house with a long view of good books.
Proverbs Woman Publishing began around a kitchen table with a simple conviction: that books carrying wisdom, faith, and grace deserve a home that treats them with care. We publish a small list each year — fiction, poetry, memoir, and devotional work — and give each title the attention it deserves.
Our name comes from Proverbs 31, the woman who "opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue." We exist to amplify voices like hers: thoughtful, generous, and enduring.
We're proudly independent. That means fair contracts, transparent royalties, and an editor who reads your whole manuscript — not a slush pile, not an algorithm. We believe the relationship between author and publisher should last longer than a single book.

What we believe
- Fewer titles, published better.
- Authors are partners, not content.
- A book should be worth the reader's time — and then some.
